Greetings from a snow covered Grantown on Spey. I am Gary Brindle and am a total aviation person,meaning if you met me and mentioned that you liked aircraft we would be talking for ages.
Several years ago I got fed up with normal jobs so took the plunge and now run a full time photo business specialising in aerial work. I can cope with most ground work however I do not have an interest in studio work.We have an excellent studio ..wedding photographer in the town and I see no point in competing with him.
On the other hand specialist aerial photographers in the UK are a rare breed and I am the only one based in the North of Scotland. It is a demanding form of image taking and like many aspects of photography is harder than it first seems.(its the logistics which can be very frustrating) There is an on line mailing list forum which is active worldwide details on request.
