Hi
Thanks for the invite. I'm from the Rhondda Valley and have been taken photographs for some 30 years. I love taking views, airshows, astrophotography and a few others that may happen to catch my eye. I look forward to taking part in the forums. I would like some feed back on my website www.durbinphotography.co.uk

Hi Mal and welcome to our forum.
I like the website. I think the white on black is very simple. (I'm no biased there really !!)
A couple of comments.
First think I did when the site opened was "Wow" look at the lightning picture. So I clicked it hoping to see a larger version but was taken to another gallery. I looked in a couple of the folders for the lightning pic but couldn't find it.
I think the advertising on the gallery sections is a bit off putting but I'm sure that isn't anything you can change. I presume it comes with the gallery hosting.
On your navigation at the top I would move the gallery button more to the left. I always put the buttons in order of importance. I think your gallery should be either second or third on your list.
The About us page text seems to be crammed into the middle of the page. I would either add more text and spread it the width of the page or use a larger font size. It just looked a bit odd in the center of the screen. I'm not sure about the white box around it. It might look better if the line was a lot thinner.
I didn't understand the "LOG IN" button there is no text to explain what it is for. I clicked it and it asked me for a password so I closed it down. Maybe an explanation of what it is for.
The only other thing was that the link picture for your portraits section and a couple on the home page are very pixely. I would increase the size of it.
I hope this is the kind of feedback you were looking for. Overall the site looks great, but its all a tweaking process - little bit here little bit there. These comments are only my opinion.
Welcome again and I'm looking forward to seeing some of your images.
