Hello, I'm Peter J. Crowley a Photographic Artist from Ct in the USA. I shoot film mostly B+W don't have a day job just create art and visual commentary, also write some verbal images and am working on a second book that will combine the two. Have taught workshops across the US and at home in my live in studio. I'm always interested in others opinions of my work. I have an extensive background in Performing Arts Photograpy. I spent too much time typing to find work as in the USA cheap and quick sell and film isn't cheap and quick. A wee bit opinionated, old school all my work is traditional, no photoshop manipulation, no cropping and am very fond of run on sentences. Hope to meet some interesting folks here and find stimulating discussions on art and photography. enjoy pjc

Hello and welcome peter, your site has a fine selection of images. Like you I still shoot on film, but hubbie has a digital camera, but even if I use that I do not manipulate the shots. We have just finished our dark room, heaven.

Oh to have a darkroom again. The digital world is being rammed down my throat. When acrylic paint was invented those who made oil paint didn't stop producing paint. A friend has a Camera store that he kept a darkroom at for me. But he had to move to a Wealthier suburb and couldn't keep space for a lab. thanks for the comments. I will try and be as visable as possible here. enjoy pjc
