Very nice Mark....

I've nevere been one for flash, usually becasue in the olden days (a couple of months ago) it was always a pain to download it when visiting a site, and as I was in a hurry most times if I can't see the site in a few seconds I move on.. but yours is very slick.....

Cheers George,

As we all know, if a site doesn't load within a few seconds then the visitor gets bored and surfs away. No point having the best, most impressive site on the web if it takes 10 minutes for the index page to load. when designing and building our site the critical factors were:

1. Speed of loading
2. Ease of use and
3. Content.

Nice site Mark.

The flash and HTML work great together.

Super work.

My only comment is - you are obviously providing a quality product. Your wedding prices seem to be very low considering the size and obvious quality of the albums.

Thanks Martin,

Your comments are appreciated. The site took some time and energy to complete and the feedback we've been receiving from our clients has been superb.

As to the wedding package prices, there is a story behind this. Firstly, my preferred field is portraiture. It is the area that I feel most comfortable in.

Like yourself and most other pro's, we all fully understand the concept of "it's easier to keep a client than find a new one". This is a basic principle of business. My way of working is very simple ..... The bride and groom are just starting on a long journey together, hopefully one that will stand the test of time. With the costs of a wedding these days so high, I make my wedding prices fair and cost effective. In most cases, when the first and subsequent babies arrive, who are they going to turn to when they want the happy family portraits done? That's right the guy that gave them a good deal back when they got married.

The majority of my business is repeat business, clients coming back for more having received good ole fashioned good service previously.

I agree, this approach doesn't work for everyone, it just does for me and suits my style of trading.

Cheers,

Mark
