RAF Waddington Air Show

I thought of going to this today to get some good shots, but as it is raining, didn't bother, but it's on tomrorrow, so might have a peek.

If there is anyone here that has gone today, let me know what it was like, worth going?

I'm going to RAF Fairford anyway in July.

I went friday to watch everything come in then went today but stopped outside you get better photos there, going in the show tomorrow think its worth going with the indians been there just hope the weather is a bit better tomorrow..

I cannot beleive it. I get there and it's cancelled because of the increased state of alert over the car bomb at Glasgow airport.

It was nothing to do with the glasgow job, it was because the field was getting to muddy to drive on and the police had been took to a river that had burst its banks and the toilets could not be empted because the trucks could not get anywere near them so it was a heath ans safety thing, i got on the field bought a progamme then got told to leave :getmecoat: at least i got a few shots, soding rain:rain:..

I don't know, they're not going to admit that it's to do with the security risk, for obvious reasons. Stuff like mud and toilets never usually gets in the way of events.

So, I ended up going to Newark Air Museum, which was interesting, took loads of shots, still a few aircraft I've yet to indentify to name.

Maybe the Indian Flanker pilots will do a turn on the RIAT display days now they missed doing one at Waddo... at least that's what I'm praying.
