Can you run both of these programs' on the same computer
I tried this a couple of years ago around PS/5 & Paint-shop 3/4 I think & they kept completing against each other
Does the latest Paint shop no ..... allow PS cs to work as-well

I've got both installed too....
However CS2 seems to want to start up
all the time any GIF or JPG I open..
I usually use PSP for editng as I'm much
quicker with it..

George you just need to tell Windows not to open photoshop when a jpeg is double clicked.
I have jpegs default program as Windows picture viewer as it opens in a second.
You could set the default to Internet Explorer so it will open quickly. The only file I have to default to CS2 is PSDs.
Just open a folder go to "TOOLS" then "FOLDER OPTIONS"
Click the "FILE TYPES" tab.
Scroll down to JPEG and Jpg.
Highlight one and underneath it will tell you which program is assigned to open it. Just change the program to open it. Choose something that opens very quickly.
Hope this helps.

I just installed psp9 yesterday, i unchecked the boxes for the file types it deals with, that way i have to click on program to open pics rather than it choosing for me.

Yes I uncheck all the boxes apart from their own files. Photoshop I let open PSDs etc.
