hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Some of the boxes aren't lining up....
And the music.... hmmm..... Something
softer - if you're going to have music - might work better..

Nice layout, isnt glamour spelt with a 'u' or do you spell it different in the US?
I like the pattern at the bottom of your page.

All lines up in Firefox. I find the two butterflys on the index page distracting other wise it gives the punter the info they want, what you do and how much it's going to cost them.

I would say, surely having `freewebs` at the bottom of the page gives the appearance of being cheap and tacky. if its for business, the bottom line is to find a company you pay each month for hosting, no matter how cheap it is. at least that would mean theres no advertising beyond your control.

Yes I agree with choogster my only comment would be to get a Domain Name.
I have just checked and you could have www.renee-marquis.com (http://www.renee-marquis.com)
Its available and would cost you £85 for two years.
I think thats a bargain and it makes you look more professional.
PS. I dont like the butterflies also.
But the rest of the site looks great.

All lines up nicely. Nice shots. Really good I would say.
Maybe lose the counter - I think they look dated now.
It seemed to take a long time to download images on my broadband too - maybe consider a lower resolution online?

£85 for a domaine name is very excessive. I can buy it right now for £19.96!

I use www.123-reg.co.uk for all domains. I'm in no way affiliated with them, but they have been pretty good, and like Wineman said, it's about £20 for a .com for 2 years. They're not so good on the hosting charge though, but the DNS management stuff is excellent.

123-reg or uk2.net are the two that I use. Mostly the former due to their parent company being Pipex. They have hosted my sites for some 6 years and have been great. Any tech probs and the guys on the end of the phone have sorted it out 24/7 365 days a year.

Looks mostly fine to me Renee.
However, while I like appropriate music with slide show, I hate music when I am trying to read and digest information. (I can't walk and chew gum at the same time either  ). Saving grace was the off button which I immediately used. A personal view no doubt, but one I tend to hear quite often from others.
Everything lined up fine for me, but I think the front page might look better with a little more white space between the image and the text. It looks a little cramped to me.
Of course it may just be a browser dependent thing. I have included a screen dump of how it looks on my system
Domain names, well the other professionals can probably advise best on this, but personally, I don't give a hoot whether a site is hosted by a free ISP or not. In fact, I rarely even pay attention to the URL, since it is just a matter of clicking on a link.
As Brendan says, I think the counter detracts from the overall appearance, and is unlikely to influence your potential clients in any way.
Best wishes with your venture.

A counter means nothing to me, I can diddle my counter (steady girls) to have any number from 1 to 10 billion.......
For some it's...
"Yurk what's that there for..."
"Oh look only 400 hits... Can't be that good..."
"Oh wow look 400 hits... They must be good, we can't afford them..."
"I wonder how many real hits they are getting, was how many they bumped it up by"...

These days most host have server side counters run by a CGI script which means there is no need to have one on your website. I find them very useful as I can determine how well a certain ad has gone as it shows me hits by day and hour. It also shows the search terms people have used on search engines.
How many hits do most people get a month?

Hi Renee....just had a quick peep and it looks alright to me....
Only thing is I don't like the frame on your shot of the woman inbetween the guys shoulders...I feel it detracts from the mood of the shot..
and you say to see more images to scroll below...now maybe its all the ice cream I have eaten today but I cannot for the life of me find where to scroll...
