When Mr Middleton printed off my portfolio for me he printed them at on A4 but with the image in the centre leaving an inch wide border of white around the edges. I have some prints to get done by Wednesday and was wondering if anyone could advise me on how to go about dealing with the file to achieve this?
Is it as simple as making say an image to be printed 10x8 an 8x6 and then adding an inch-wide border around it, or am I on the wrong track? :)
Sorry if I'm confusing anyone.

you could do it that way or create a a4 blank doc and then open your image copy it into blank document and use the transform tool to size image so you have a border around it

Who is this MR Middleton guy??????? :Dm:Dm
The way I did it Ross was to center the images on the page using the printer driver settings. Just so happens you had sized the files so a 1" border was formed.
This is probably the easiest way to do it, if your paper is 10x8 size the image to 8x6 centered on the page.
