I was contacted by this lady and here is the result.

"The Guardian are giving away a free Guide to Photography next Saturday in the paper. This is a 100 page guide in our award-winning series.

photography-forum.org has been chosen as one of the best photography forums on the web and is listed in the guide with a few lines of information about it.

So that your members get to see this guide would it be possible for you to post something on your homepage/news page to tell them this is happening? If possible, we would love you to put something similar to the below:

On Saturday October 27 the Guardian are giving away a free 100 page guide to Photography. The guide is aimed at enthusiastic amateurs and will cover all aspects, both technical and creative, of film and digital photography. Read about what inspired professionals such as Martin Parr, Anton Corbijn, Jane Bown and Sam Taylor-Wood, and gain invaluable practical advice from our expert workshops, which cover everything from travel photography to sport to reportage.
From Monday 29 October, G2 will run a daily photography tutorial which will give readers the chance to send in their own photographs to be critiqued by professional photographers. Don't miss this chance to learn from the experts and see your photos published in the Guardian."

We were chosen in the top 5 forums in the country - nice !!

Apparently its only a list of resources not a big advert or anything. Still - worth it I reckon.

Ill be grabbing my copy.
