What's the best way to get Pony snot of your filter???? Do you think I'm joking  heres my proof....

It gave everyone around me a good laugh...
All I had with me was a lens cloth which just smered it all over the filter, so I abandoned the filter for the rest of the day.
Is it safe to put filters under running water, only asking as I figure it would be easier to remove water stains than dried snot....
Think I'll look at packing a few cheap spare filters for future adventures.

ROTFLMAO.... oh god... that brings back memories for me... :)

And just wash it Marty.. a bit of soapy water and a soft sponge.. let it soak for a bit... it will come up like brand new.. rinse it well though or it will be hard to get the smears out if there is any excess detergant on it...

hold back on the scourer though...

Out in the field (pun :) ) I?m afraid you only have recourse to the old 'red wine - white wine' trick .......... you have to position yourself strategically at the pony's rear quarters holding the filter firmly in the right hand and get the pony to pee on it.

It's warmer and more pleasant than you might imagine :)

I was thinking next time I'll just get a big stick poke the kids with it until they cry then use their tears to clean the filter, that would work wouldn't it?
