Hi everyone,

:help: :help: I have never sent any of my work to Photo Librarys before.

Question...... When sending work (DIGITAL) to photo librarys, is there a particular size that they would require (300DPI?) and is there a particular size of the finished shot when sending I.E. 10X8 INCHES?

Just wondering, as I would like to send work away and dont want to appear a fool. I only work with digital now, is this ok?

Hope you can help :help: :help: Does anyone know any good librarys?

Thanks :icon_nice

To be honest - your best bet would be to ask the library you are sending to.

The one I send some images to are web-based, so only want 72 dpi, 500 pixels long images to preview to the buyers. The hi-res image is sent once the sale is agreed.

Other libraries require the highest possible quality from the word go.

Noone will think you are a numpty if you ring up and say "As I don't want to be a pain, can you tell me the best way to send images?" or words to that effect.

I worked with fotolibra for a while, there rules were the largest images possible at 300dpi, unsharpened (seems to be the case for a lot of libraries), they were looking in excess of around 48meg file sizes.

Thank you so much for the info. Ok I shall ring the ones that I feel are appropriate.
