Marwell Zoological Park

Inspired by George's days out threads I thought I'd post about Marwell, situated just a few miles from my home and one of my all time favourite photographic venues. Not just a zoo but a conservation centre with an excellent breeding record.

Cool! The penguin is my favourite. The others seem to have quite a dreamy effect, especially the tiger shots. Like it! :)

George, that's a Fossa they're about the size of a small dog (well a bit bigger than Wills ;)c) and are from Madagascar. His nose was pressed right up against the window I couldn't resist it :grin:

I haven't been since December myself Dotty I must go again soon too. I love the big cats, they've had 4 tiger cubs born in the last couple of years and a couple of snow leopards late last year too :)
