Newbie needs Advice

Hello Just joined the forum. Recently purchased a Canon Rebel XTi, I need to buy a suitable reasonably priced flashgun. I have been considering Sigma EF530 DG-ST. Does anyone have experience with this gun, or suggest an alternative?

Hi Colin...welcome to the forum......difficult to advise without knowing your budget M8....but personally I would go for a canon dedicated gun if you can...the 580EX has come down in price since the introduction of the 580EX11.....
Also, why not go and introduce yourself too...give us an idea of the type of shots you take....
