Hi all,
I'm looking to get a medium format camera-preferably with a changeable back and not too expensive as I'm new to medium format and can't afford anything too swanky! Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you need a removable back, probably the cheapest option is going to be a Bronica ETRS or a Mamiya 645. Check out ebay..there should be a few to chose from :)

Bronicas are superb. I would go down that route.

do you know if the Brontica ETRS comes with a specific lens or does it vary?

The standard lens is an 75 mm ( like a 50mm on a 35mm camera) :)

Well as standard they don't come with a metering head. They cost a fortune too so I would not bother. So you will need a light meter of some sort.

Also cosider medium format cameras realy need a tripod. The way you work with them is much more structured, each frame costs money. plan your shot and compose with care. They ain't a point and shoot hope for ther best camera..I would say probably one of the best ways to learn togin :ok:
