I have a Cannon Rebel XTI (400D) and will be using it to take proffessional shots in car showrooms.

As it'll be shooting indoors i'll be limited with space so need lenses that can take photo's with little or no zoom at all.

Can anyone suggest lens that would fit the bill?

Many thanks guys and girls!

I reckon a wide angle zoom. Dont know the canon lenses but something like 18-70mm or 16-85 or something. That way you can get good perspective shots, straight shots and close enough to capture detail shots.

on a 400D I would go for a Sigma 10-20 EX, awsome lens..nice andwide. Ideal for this type of work.:ok: It kind of depends on what type of shots you want..arty or record? The Sigma will do both.

you need to be very careful. distorting a car with a wide angle is good for effect, but doesn't usually work from a manufactureres point of view. usually ends up looking wrong. professional car photography -other than custom cars - is done with standard to long lenses as its much more flattering and truer to what the manufactuer wants people to see
