forgot how i did this lol

i made this image a couple of days ago and im pretty proud of it. infact i was so pleased with it that i decided to do another....this is where the problems begin, iv totally forgotten how i did it and iv deleted the .PSD from my machine (oops), can anyone advise me on how i did it? or at least tell me a good method of getting back to a similiar point. one thing to not is that all the image i have taken are RAW format

ok as much as i remember is that, i imported the NEF several times at different exposures and tweaking different settings in camera RAW, i then placed them all above each other and used a layer mask to hide the bits i didnt want. however, when i try and redo it now i get large areas of blue in the shadows, the lips are coming out purple not red and pixelated (i have tried doing gradient, colour match, Hue ect but the result is greatly increased apearance of pixelation, and the eyes just turn solid blue (no releftions or life) thats about as much as i remember.
