Yea, Hey guys. Cheers for reading this thread.
I'm a total new kid to photography and seeing some pictures on the internet I'm having a thought at 'Investing' into it...:)

I don't have loads of money to play with, up to £150 is my max.:(x

I've just been scanning eBay and came across this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Canon-EOS-40D-DSLR-body-2GB-CF-Card-UK-EU-TAX-Free_W0QQitemZ110255831533QQihZ001QQcategoryZ31388 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem).

As I'm totally new to photography, I don't really know what I would need to buy with it as it only says its the body.
So I'm hoping you chaps could help me and point me out what I'd need with the above^^.

Cheers again for reading this, James.

that cam is 1 of the top range and you will need to purchase lenses as well and I bet this 1 ends up around £500+ but it really isnt a camera for a beginner, most of the hi end digi's are not out of the box friendly and some basic knowledge is reguired.

Hi James as Dotty pointed out the 40d will come out at over £500 quid just for the body.

With £150 to spend and being 'new' to taking photos I would recommend something like this.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-FUJI-S8000FD-S8000-8MP-DIGITAL-CAMERA-18XZOOM-2GB_W0QQitemZ250250719922QQihZ015QQcategoryZ31388Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Lots of features / spec so it'll last you for quite awhile before you out grow it.
