Hi,

Any chance you could open the comp to members with 50+ posts?? I desperately want to submit pics - it keeps me inspired to go out and try new stuff when I've got a specific task to do.

Been looking forward to getting to the 100 post mark but I saw you're thinking about cancelling the comp. Please please please don't - I'll contribute if you let me??

Thanks for your note - glad to hear that the comp inspires you. The next Comp will be up and running shortly, but see no need to change the rules for now. You've only got post twice a day this month and you'll reach the 100 mark - the rules (originally set by Barry) are their to encourage participation in the forum and ensure that a regular contributor walks away with the prize 16x12 print. So get posting and look forward to seeing your entry :-)

Yeah, that's completely fair - I fully understand why you have the rules and I agree - I'm just VERY impatient!! Haha.

Thanks very much for the reply, hope the turnout is better for the next one - I'll remain patient for a while - you never know, I might have posted enough to sneak a pic in by the end of the month!!


By the way, LOVE the pic of the bird (gull??) on your website - amazing exposure and sharpness - looks like a bloody difficult shot to get right!
