i feel like im posting a lot of threads here so ... sorry

i recently purchased 5X 2GB SD cards shown here

http://www.memorybits.co.uk/shop/sd/kingston-2gb-sd-elite-pro-50x-card-sd2gbs/4034

now iv been using my D60 on continuous shooting mode but i seem to only be able to get a max of 3 or 4 shots in a row before it has to stop and catch up, im not sure if this is a limitation of the SD card or the camera, tbh i'm not even sure if you can get different speed SD cards

if it is the SD card, can someone recommend some, i got a wedding coming up and i wanna be able to go totally snap happy without worrying about missing a vital moment cos my camera was "catching up"

thanks

also if anyone knows of any fresh togs in need of portfolio work could you get them to check out this thread tar

That sounds like your cards mate. The ones you linked to only write at 50x speed which is only 7mb a second. If your shooting in raw, the files will be around 12-15mb each. This card http://www.mymemory.co.uk/SD-Cards/SanDisk/SanDisk-1GB-Extreme-III-SD-Card is pretty much the minimum you need to be working with if you're after continuous shooting. Obviously you can get these in higher capacities. Hope this helps :)

Yep, cards - that's a pretty slow write speed.

Spend a bit more - it's worth it. There's some bargains about with memory at the moment!

Yep just to echo what has been said .... card speed, and if your going to buy from fleaybay or a small shop buy from someone you can trust (if there is such a thing) or recommendations

Sandisk recently admitted they couldnt even tell the fake cards from the outside.

Couple of my old ones, great for single shot ... :laugh1:
