I have come accross an interesting article detailing photographer's rights in the UK. Follow the link and download the 2 page pdf. There is lots of very useful info here and perhaps an administrator might want to make this one a sticky?

Just spotted the above info, so I thought I would take this opportunity to make my first post.
UK members with copyright and legal issues might be interested in contacting Own It, on www.own-it.org. They specialise in the legal and copyright side of the creative arts, particullarly photography and have been very helpful to me on a number of occasions. It's free to join, you get a regular newsletter and invitations to attend events on specialist subjects. They give free advice and even a free 45min one to one with a lawyer if need be. The only downside is, that the events and legal appointments only take place in London (as far as I know).
