Guess I'll have to do textures. The leaves are not out yet on any trees in my area so they'll be just sticks. I did fine this activity going on in the trees.

DennisB
15th May 2006, 03:55 PM
Hi Barry. We breed them here and export them all over the world :Dm
When the CB radios were all the rage this place had the nickname Polo Mint City, because of the number of roundabouts we have

In my area they are called tent worms, but I think they are also called the Gypsy Moth. They spin these nest to hold their eggs, then go off and eat the leaves off the tree.:00000055:

Loved this shot a combination of two images one exposed for the foreground and one for the sky.
A perfect day for photography - we don't get many in Scotland so we have to make the most of them when we do.
This is just around the corner maybe three miles away from home.:whistle3:

Try downloading the trial from http://www.hdrsoft.com/ and using the blending and tone mapping tools or if you've PS CS2 you'll find a HDR blend tool. you should get a smother result without the tell-tail line on the horizon.

How about a pile of trees. The loggers in New England were out cutting trees down for lumber and paper products.
I took a stack of lumber and turned the photo sideways to get this effect.
