Men have real trouble looking natural if you ask them to pose for the camera. This is where your experience as a wedding photographer should take over.

look at the two images below the first I asked the guys to stand together for a picture. Awkward hands !!

The second images after all of 1 seconds direction the guys look much more natural.

Just a quick tip.

Great tip there Martin, this is a big problem up in the north, as most guys walk or pose with hands in pockets, but with wearing a kilt thats impossible, and what a diff just tucking hands behind your back makes compared to them justt hanging down the side.

Thanks for that, noted in my wee yellow "what do do at weddings" notebook"

Yes well noted Dave - See still things wrong.

Make sure the guys take their mobiles out of their pockets.

I hope it a mobile !!!!!

Prince Charles always says that if he doesn't know what to do with his hands he puts them behind his back.

My dear departed Grandad always maintained that it squared you shoulders and lifted you posture.

At least in Martin's first shot they had their hands by their sides, round here they always go for the 'free kick cupping' AKA 'pointing Percy at the porcelain' pose if you know what I mean!
