Hello again!
Like I said in my Who Are You?? post, I've some questions about what kit best to get...
I've had a Konica Minolta DiMage Z6 for a while now and I like it because it takes a nice photo; I like the super macro mode and the fact it's got a 12x zoom, though it's fussy about lighting (sensitivity only goes up to ISO 320) and the manual focus is quite fiddly to work, cos I use my viewfinder with my left eye - to use the navigation buttons for focussing, I have to jam my thumb inbetween the camera and my right cheek, which, apart from being uncomfortable, makes it difficult to focus properly....
I've had my eye on a Sony Alpha 200 for a while, partly because they've taken on KM's expertise; I've not really handled any SLRs yet, but to me it seems a better deal than the equivalent Nikon or Canon... is this a wise way of looking at this?
Because I like opposites in object distance, I'm not sure which lenses to get... will the standard lens that comes with it take reasonable macro shots? will I need to buy a macro lens at nearly twice the price of the camera or will a cheaper one do?
which lens is the best for tele shots? Sony? Tamron? Sigma?
to cut a long story short: :help:
Thanks to anyone who can help me make sense of it all...
Marcel
