Hello me again!

Right, I've got my lights working nicely and (thanks to Brian's course) I can white out the background no problem. However, one of the shots I love to do of little ones, is where I'm standing slightly above them and them looking up into the camera. Now, how do I get the floor/background as white as it would be without totally overexposing the subject?

I know it's probably a very simple solution, but I've had a go this afternoon between tantrums and food breaks (got two small kiddies) and I can't seem to get it right without completely blowing out the subject.

All help very welcome indeed!

Just a suggestion from a non pro...........Why not use a dark coloured sheet on the floor instead of white? Use the colour selector in PS to eliminate the background when you edit. I would suggest dark green, as the movie producers use, and make sure your subject is not wearing any of the background colour when you shoot.

If you go down the road the Magician suggests you can use the colour replacement tool in photoshop but be careful that none (or even close colours) are on your subject as these will change too.

Thanks for the replies and yes I could do it that way. I just would like to know if there's a way to get it right in camera to cut down on PP. If not, then Photoshop will have to be the answer!
