Now that the main wedding season is coming to a close I have decided to invest in some new studio lights.

My old ones are about knackered with a new condenser needed for one of my Prolite 100's which isn't cheap, plus they are all looking quite shabby.

What do any of you lighting guru's reccommend up to about a grand.

I have all stands soft boxes etc so it's just heads I'm after.

Sorry for the late reply on this, only just noticed it. I had a lighting course with Brian Smith in April and although he uses Elinchrom, he recommended I get Bowens. The reason for this is that you can pick up bowens fit (not necessarily own brand) accessories for a fraction of the price of Elinchrom.

I followed his advice and got three 500w flash heads and I'm v happy!

K :)

I think I will stay on the road of Bowens, (the ones I have are Bowens) and it seems a bit daft to start EVERYTHING from scratch.

Thanks for the reply
