I don't know how detailed an explanation you need? But is PS you place a text layer over the picyure layer. You can decrease opacity if u like.
Note that your pictures are copyrighted anyway.

I create a new brush with the words Copyright 2008 etc.
Quite easy really. Do you have photoshop, let me know and I will go through it with you.

Ok let's go.
1. Create a new file 500px by 200px at 300 dpi with a white background.
2. With black type whatever you want into the stage
ie: Copyright © Jemmy 2008
3. Crop to size
4. With your results still in front of you go to EDIT, scroll down to DEFINE BRUSH PRESET, Name it what you want and your copyright image is now a brush loaded into the bottom of your brushes pallette.
5. When you wish to use it, it's probably best to create a blank layer, pick any colour or opacity you wish and just click on your brush over the image, reposition and size to suit (that's the reason for the new layer) and there is your copyrighted image.
In fact I've made one for you but probably best to make your own to suit.
You can retrieve your brush at http://www.bdtaylor.co.uk/juliebrush.rar
Hope this helps,

You could just create an action.
Open your image in ps then click the actions tab (the little play button in the top right of your workspace. If you can't see it go to window>actions). Now click on the new action button (the page with the corner turned up) and give it a name, then press the record button. All you need to do now is type your copyright across the image and move it to where ever you want, adjust the opacity if you want then click on the stop button. All you then do in future is with any image open, select that action and press play and ps will do everything for you.

I did the record action and it worked but maybe im just being thick but I can't find the copyright symbol in photoshop and I can't get my text to write across my image?:nut:

To open the file first you will need winrar, but usually windows has an extracting programme built in, however, you can go to www.rarlabs.com and download winrar.
Once downloaded and installed you will be able to extract the file to your desktop.
...............then open photoshop click on your brushes, go to where it says in the menu bar, click it, you will see a small arrow on the right hand side, click the arrow, scroll down and it will say load brush, click that, do the the directory where the brush has been extracted to, click on that brush - it will appear in your brush menu at the bottom.
Hope this helps.

Hey
I found a much, much faster way of doing this.
I found VSO Image resizer.
It's great for resizing and / or watermarking large amounts of photos at a time.
http://www.download.com/8301-2007_4-9954886-12.html
Has a built in watermarker aswell as resizing.
I use it for all of my images.
Hope you find this useful.
