Clear and smart presentation, its easy to guide around which is important.

You know the first photo on your portrait section- where is that? Becasue i think ive been there!

And thats a big suitcase!!!

Overall, a good selection of images, and all the info is presented clearly. :)

Hi Geoff

I hate to put a dampner on things but I really did not think much of the images at all. Just looked like snapshots with a compact to me, especially the portrait ones. I don't see how a girl poking her tongue out makes a great shot? I also don't like the lighting in the wedding images as they all look a bit flat to me. I would like to see some of them "pop". Have a look at my latest images on the wedding galleries section to see what i mean. The last one of the older lady is just simply out of focus and I think it would be wise to take it down. You only seem to have prices for the weddings though and not portraits.

As I say, sorry to be mean but it is the only way we learn. I have learnt a great deal about photography from this forum as you can see if you look back on my postings of photographs. My critisism is meant in a constructive way to offer advice as it has been given to me - I hope that it helps!

I do like the design of the site though - clean and well though out.

The site itself is very nice and porofessional but the images are not good at all. To me it looks like you were not the photgrapher at the weddding and you have been looking over the shoulder and stood to the side of the professional. VERY NAUGHTY IF SO!!!!

The general idea for the site is good but the images, in the main, are not. In some of the wedding ones the commisioned photographer is included in the shot!!!! There is far more to 'reportage' style photography than taking candids.
Another give away is the 'GMS Photography' and 'GMS Consultancy' be all things to as many men as possible {heck I offer photography, web and graphic design but all under one banner} but don't try to be too clever in giving the impression of a large outfit when you'r not.
Aslo I feel there are too many words, people don't read web long pages.

Hey Geoff, got to agree on this one. Site is pro looking but the images don't do you credit. You've shown better work than this. Take your time on selecting and editing the right images and keep at it. It's all a great big learning curve..

Another thing here: "This will include a CD with around 400 images for you to do with what you want, a complete set of 6"x4" prints, and around 150 images will be uploaded onto this website for friends and family to view and purchase." People will probably NOT buy re-prints from you if you give them a CD of the high res pics! Just an idea! ;)c
