Shooting my weddings with two S2's and constantly swapping throughout the day............ need to sort the files into order.... but even owning PS7 Breezebroswer and U-LEAD i cannot get any of them to rearrange the files into date order AND SAVE the changes !!!!! must be in there somewhere but can i find it ; can i buffalo.

help please

I arrange by date THEN rename the files in order..

If you have PSP 7 then you should have
jmcp 7 which you can use to sort AND rename...

Whats jmcp ??? I wanna do exactly that; sort to date order and rename... at the moment i am having to drag them around in U-Lead which is a pain !!

Have a look at Irfanview's batch renaming. you load the files and drag them into the order you want, tell it how you want to rename them and press start.
you either overwrite the files in the exisiting folder or to a new one. I use it a lot for converting tiffs to jpegs or just resizing the big D200 files to smaller ones for certain clients. It's free so you've nothing to loose.

nope not yet too much on right now.... some of it my own cock-ups and some new commitments to the local Camera club which surface just last week..... but i shall try it out and let you guys know... TVM
