I just called WExp to order a new camera using the Buy Now Pay in 12 Months option.
I also wanted a couple of other bits and pieces that didn't show the BNPL option on the website.
having spoken to the sales girl and sorted the camera order, I then said :
"There's a few other bits I'd like to get as well, as they aren't showing the deal I suppose I'll have to order them separately"
"Oh no, of course not" was the reply, "You can order anything you like on this deal"
Whoops!!!!!
Twenty minutes later and I hang up, sign the paperwork tomorrow and hopefully a very VERY large box of toys will arrive next week!
(Just don't tell the wife it's anyhting other than a camera, just a camera, nothing else!)

Actually not the D700!!!!
Really couldn't justify the £2,000 tag seeing as three lenses wouldn't be fully-compatible!
Got the D300 instead after having had a quote for service/repair to the D200!
TBH, having compared both 300 & 700 side by side - the 300 is all that I need for the next couple of years!
Oh, yeah, also got a beauty dish for the Speedlight! Gonna look like a mobile satellite receiver at a wedding now!!!!!
Plus some other bits.....but the wife might read !

Tut tut. Naughty boy. Especially consideringthe current financial climate. I am a bit jealous though.
How much was the quote for the D200 btw? Could do with knowing so I can make an informed decision when the time comes.

Nice one M8...you've got to post a shot of you 'in action' with the beauty dish :)...actually, I'd be really interested to see the results that produces...
Take it you're going to be 'hovering' around the front door for the next few days to intercept the parcel before Mrs Snorks see it LOL....(been there, done that :) )

I needed some repairs doing as well, rubber grip replaced, new focus screen etc etc....quote was getting on for £300. I think a standard service and clean is around the £150 mark.
I figured £300 now and new camera in 6 months, or £900 now and new camera in two-three years.

Yeah quite right. Thats bloody expensive seeing as you can get a D200 now for less than £600 brand new.
