As a general guide if you have to crop through a limb then do it about halfway between joints............ then it looks ok

Ohhh you'll burn in hell for that one....

:)

I remember seeing her fighting to sue the Police
for her leg... It was a police motorcycle that took
it off....

Her arguement was that "they never go around in pairs"...

One had passed her with Blues and Twos on, and she stepped
out infront of the second one....

*sigh*

She was drunk apparently..

Say, can we watch it with the amputee jokes? I am one and I'm a sensitive guy. I'm a DBK of four years now, so no short jokes either like where do you find Earl? Right where you left him.:dance2:

Good point as to where to crop a photo. I am guilty of cropping like that but I try to make it look good in the process. Although I see at your top line it would just leave her finger tips and that may not be good.

Another point is foreshorten. Never point an elbow or knee towards the camera it makes it look shorter than it is. Haven't figured out why when you point your nose it looks longer.

The pic i dug out was the one most readily available for the post I just wanted to show where-abouts on the limb the crop would be and in the case of the lady I didn intend that her arm would be cropped at all.... it was just an illustration.

The amputee bit, was so that the limb would not look awkward when cropped at a joint ie the wrist/kneecap/elbow......and no offence was intended at all

I love it when people ask, so ask away. I wear prosthetics and I even had one done up pretty fancy so kids would ask. Some areas I can't get to so I can photograph but there's ways.XXXPenguinXXX
