Well, after thinking about it for many m o n t h s, asking loads of questions, searching on line for hours on end, I have at long last ordered myself this -
http://www.tamrac.com/5550.htm
I cant wait now - it will be here in 2 days and I hope it turns out to be a good buy.
Has anyone any experience of them?

I've got a smaller tamrac bag. Big enough for a few lenses and one camera body with lens attached, which is all the kit I have so it's perfect for me.
The bag itself feels very sturdy and it doesn't look too obviously like a camera bag which is a bonus for the paranoid amongst us.

I know!! Since I ordered it I have found out it is quite 'sturdy' shall we say:laugh1:
I can see I am going to end up with severe shoulder droop, but I need to be able to carry kids coats, drinks etc and it did have a fairly hefty discount too so I couldn't resist.
I just hope I haven't made a BIG mistake:wacko:

Well, I am thinking of going for a compact point and shoot instead of dslr, so there should be plenty of spare room.
Only joking!!:laugh1:

I have the smaller version of that and also the Tamrac Cyberpack 6 too. Honestly cant fault them.
Only problem I've ever had was trying to get the larger one thru check in as hand luggage! I actually saw the old lady in the seat in front of me raise 2 inches as i had to squeeze it under her seat as it wouldnt even fit in the overhead compartment!!
Its a good buy tho, wont let you down

Wow that's a bag and a half. :)
Finding a suitable bag for all the gear is probably harder than trying to find the right camera and lens, at least there are loads of reviews for cameras and lenses but bag reviews are rather thinner on the grounds. I must make a note of visiting all the bag stands at Focus next time.
