I'v invested in two radio triggers and a Transmitter for use on my Flash guns. I needed them to be reliable and to work inside and out whatever.

So I'm sad and just wanted to test em.

One gun inside the car, one under it. I guessed the exposure at 1sec & f/4 it was as black as coal out side so I focused manually.

I know it's a crap pic, but I reckon these things have real potential for spicing up some night shots. :acute:

Hi Rich

love the shots-the nikon ones:acute:

Can I ask,how do you use more than one radio trigger on a nikon cam? I know it sounds like a daft question but I thought they fitted to the hotshoe.I'd love to know how to do it so I can try it myself..

Hi Kenny,

The TX ( transmitter) fits on the hotshoe of any camera. Then an RX ( receiver) fits via a lead to the sync port on the Nikon SB900. There are varying adapters to facilitate this.

I have two SB900 so need two receivers. The TX will trigger any number of flash guns on the same channel.

There is no TTL, so the guns are used in manual mode. It slower working like this but mega reliable and familiar to me. :)

Hi Rich

Thanks for the info.I asked because I had to sell my studio lights to buy a replacement printer when the Epson went postal on me and I just kept hold of the two studio brollies with flash holders.I have an SB 600 flash and can get hold of a cheap sigma flash and at lest then with the flash triggers I could have some sort of studio set up.

My Brother in law has just built a shed on his allotment thats 15 foot long and nine foot wide and nine foot high which would be perfect to "acquire" from time to time as a temporary studio so anything I can use and not be too heavy to lug the 800 yards from where you can park the car to where the allotment is would be a bonus.

Eventually I woulnt mind when funds become available for him to build me one in my back yard so I can have a proper permanany studio.
