OK, here's my problem:
I download my RAW files and let Bridge build previews etc.
After a quick edit down, I add my copyright and keywords etc through File Info & the keywords palette.
Then I go through Camera RAW and convert to a 'working' image to tweak it a bit, and save a jpeg copy of the finished image.
CS2 & Bridge still read the metadata in the jpeg as it seems to travel with the image through the conversions.
I crunch the image down into a 500 pixel, compressed version to upload to an on-line library and upload it.
I can still read the data on the small file from my hard drive, but the library doesn't seem to pick up on it and attach it to the image for inclusion in the database.
They use the IPTC standard - can anyone explain, simply, why my keywords and titles aren't going with the image into the database?
BTW - I do not use the CS2 'Save for Web' function, but an Imageready droplet that reduces the file size to that required by the library.
