News worthy Images.....

I am curious to know what you guys do if you take a photograph which is potentially news worthy - but is topical to the point that it will lose its attraction quite quickly.

I hope you understand what i mean.

Not necessarily anything at the moment but better prepared for the day that i get my " 15 minutes of fame".

Last time that happened for me was 1985 - photos used in papers and subsequently in court for an assault on an MP. Back then I was not interested in money - only recognition, since back then I wanted to be a photojournalist. Just rang the news desk of the local paper - they collected the film and gave me a free set of prints and published them.

Get on too your local papers PDQ and tell them what you have, if it of national interest call one of the tabloids
