Wanted Canon Speedlite

Does anyone have, either of the following flashgun forsale :-
Canon Speedlite 430EX II or at the right price the Canon Speedlite 580EX II ???

your looking at around 170 pound for the 430 and way more than that for 580, just to make you aware,

Cheapest 430 I've found this week was £170 yesterday. Today they are £190 and out of stock. That better be because I ordered last one!
Cheapest 580 (and in stock) was about £330.
I nearly ordered a 430 yesterday from one place for £198,but rang to get sent to work.On the fone I checked was actually in stock,was told had gone up that morning to £299 and web was wrong!

Everywhere seems to be going out of stock of all major items or ramping the price up. I advise google and camerapricebuster.com and as soon as u find stock buy it.

Yep exactly! My very next words were "Thanks, bye".
I think it was Jacobs (looked at EVERY site last few days), but they are showing £250 now, maybe someone said we can't take the p*ss THAT much...

I only was looking at the 430 cos my order for two sigma 530 supers of over a week ago was canceled by vendor (another story, yet to ring them and express my pleasure), and then more sigmas were either out of stock or more than 430s!

I tell ya, things are mental right now...

You jest, but I just rang up with a "where's my flash", that I ordered monday AFTER ringing to check in stock. "Ah waiting for stock, due tomorrow, be with you friday".
"Umm, how come, seeing as I checked you had stock before I ordered".
"Ah that will be because as your delivery ad is different to bill ad, it took a different process route and must have gone out of stock in the meantime."
Bovine effluent immediately sprang to mind.

i have just read recently that Canon and Nikon have increased all their prices across the whole range and advised the retailers to do likewise:wacko:

It's a real bad time for buying gear, BUT I think it's gonna get worse.

It's a real bad time for buying gear, BUT I think it's gonna get worse.

YEah, I think Curry's (or Comet) are at top of camerapricebuster pile for price, but they're not in stock for delivery apparently, and needless to say no stores round my way have them in. :(
