This is my offering...

...and this snippet from the site (hopefully!) describes what I do...
"This is an online portfolio featuring my digital photography. Some of the subject matter is found in and near the locality I live in, Stanford-le-Hope, which is on the Essex bank of the Thames estuary in England - other locations such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brugge and Gent are featured.
Coastal, estuary and marshland themes have tended to dominate my work to date, with the Thames estuary featuring a lot. I find the bleakness of the estuary holds a certain fascination for me. Sometimes I'll try and extract the hidden beauty that can be found in the area with use of the right light, along with cropping of the image, to cut out the power lines, smokestacks, cranes, silos and all the other industrial and post industrial detrius. At other times, I'll give you the bleakness and sheer ugliness of the area exactly as it is!
I am currently undertaking a year long project featuring the nearby nature reserve at Stanford Warren. The aim of the project is to show how the mood and feel of this location changes with the passing of the seasons, and the changing light and weather conditions this brings."
Cheers,
Dave
