Hi we are a husband and wife team from the middle of Wiltshire (between Bath and Melksham). We started wedding photography 3 years ago, after I had backed another photographer for a season who paid me for every print he used (£5), I thought it might be time to go it alone. Did 5 the first year, then my husband joined me so we could offer a better selection of styles. Wish we had made the move sooner, but they do say life begins at 40. I have cobbled together a webb site, first attempt hope to improve it over the hols.www.dandlphotography.co.uk (http://www.dandlphotography.co.uk)

Hi and welcome. Just had a quick look at your site and liked it.
Your lowest prices seem a bit too low for the work involved for two of you and the quality of your images. I know your area reasonably well and would think you could raise these without any problem, especially as you offer a mid-week discount. Even round here, South Staffordshire which is just recovering from the loss of deep mining, most packages like these are around the £750 mark.
There is a thread which goes into pricing quite deeply.

Enjoyed browsing your website Dotty.C I loved the illustration for your 36 years experience :D . A nice humourous relaxed touch  . Nothing is more off-putting than signs that someone takes themselves overly serious.

Good luck with your venture.

PS Your link to the "clotheshorsebath" doesn't seem to work, but I think it is that the target site is no longer available, since links to the same company from other websites also fail.

Just found time to have a good look at your site. agree with Dennis the above link does not work; neither does the 'back' link on the 'about us' page. More importantly on the portraits page the second from the left is very pixilated when the big image is viewed. On my profiled monitor most of the images seem veiled or slightly unsaturated, did you use sRGB as the colour space? I find you need to tweek the files for web use by increasing the saturation a little and adjusting the curve to get rid of the veiling.
Hope this saves you a bit of time when rehashing your site.

Thanks for taking the time to look at our site, and the advise on the rehash.
