Hi, my name is barry, 33 year old, married with 3 sprogs, been doing photography for a few year now, but did first wedding two year ago, and had 3 this year. Panic never eases, but great once finished. My website is www.barrymoirphotography.co.uk, built myself with very little knowledge, and still ongoing.

Hi Barry
Sorry I havent welcomed you personally, your post seems to have slipped through the net.
Another Scott - you are taking over :D
Like your site but your prices seem on the low side for the quality images you are producing.
With regards the panic before a wedding I think this is a good thing. I was only talking about this to one of the photographers that work for me. I do 60+ weddings a year and I still get butterflies before I start. As soon as I start it all goes away. I think a mild state of "panic" keeps you focused, its when you relax and switch off theat the problems occur.
Hope you enjoy the forum - we are relativley new and small in number but we already have a wide range of photographers all with one thing in common - helping each other.
Keep posting we will help with whatever we can.

Hi and thanks for the welcome and viewing my site and your kind words, my prices are still that low as i feel im not good enough yet to charge extra ( i know lol i shouldnt work like that), there is a slight increase this year in prices, still to update that. I agree with the panic side, i was told that "at least you care enough to panic lol ". A few more weddings booked for this year, thats the problem for me, they come few and far between that you cant get into a regular thing with them so the panic is afresh each time lol. Hopefully this year though i will increase the number of bookings (handy knowing someone whom owns a florist).
The forum is fantastic, and i look forward to taking part in it, ive always been a big fan of forums and the help they can provide.
Regards
Barry
