Just wanted to make sure that every one using film knows about www.7dayshop.com. I don't know how far they send stuff. Some inks and memory cards etc. are also good value.

Film whats that ?? :D

For my ink I go straight to JR Inkjet. I have an Epson R200 and each cartridge is now about 50p each. These are trade prices as I buy a 100 at a time (This lasts me about three months.

Never had a problem with them clogging etc.

Had a little problem with my printer a couple of weeks ago. Will post this in the photography chat section.

You've just landed in the middle of a domestic, I use film and hubbie is digital, have used his D10 but if I went digi would not have an excuse to shut myself away for hours in the darkroom, with 4 teenagers, 4dogs & 10 cats I need the time out!!!!!!!!!!

Same thing though. You spend all the time in a room with smelly chemicals. I sit in front of a computer. Same thing just different rooms. !!!

At the moment I'm using a company called PHOTOMART for catridges and paper. The carts are either Ferrania or Inkright, seems to be no diffeence, and the paper is Konica. They do a masive range including OEM carts etc and delivery is fast, order by 3.30 and it's on your doorstep first thing next morning. They have a min order value of £50 which should not be a problem for most of you. The Konica paper appears to be very similar to ICI Olmec and gives super results.

I used Selectafont for years but the guy running it seems to have a health problem and has shut the online shop.
For album prints etc I use 1st Cameras in Newcastle under Lyme, for what they charge it's not worth switching the printer on! I'm working on submissions for an ARPS and or an ABIPP, the prints will be done by these people. They better the local so-called pro labs at half the cost. Download the Fuji profiles and, subject to your monitor being profiled, you'll get what's on your screen. I only use the i9100 for proofs and my hobby work.

7dayshop have good prices but very slow delivery unless you pay extra, MX2 is worth checking out. Before ordering I'd say check them against each other.
Retrophotographic is excelent for mono materials inc IR film, the Adox silver rich paper is fantastic, no inkjet can get anywhere near this sort of mono quality.

Hope that's of some help and interest. I have no connections with any of the above except as a very happy customer.

I tend to call into Morco who are reasonably local to me but I know they do a lot of internet/mail order sales.
Their own brand inkjet paper "Morpro" is the best that I have found... very high white which gives the colour that extra vibrancy.

When in London I often use Teamwork who also give good prices.
