First off I got your pm and packaged up the flash today. I planned to send it tomorrow - assuming I can get out to the post office.

Hi Simon just to let you know that I got the items as promised this morning, I am very happy - felt like Christmas morning! Thanks very much for the speedlite 380EX - it is truly appreciated, have had a quick play with the lens too and I would say is alot crisper than the kit lens from the 450D. Thanks again, lol.

Oh that's good news Gwen. Glad they made it safely to you. Not bad delivery considering it was in my hands on Saturday morning...

Re the flash. I actually realized you will need to download the manual as I did - I can't remember when I last saw the original manual. Anyway you can get it here.

Obviously the flash is ETTL and very simple to use, but it is worth reading the manual just to be sure you understand how it interacts with the camera.
