Renee,
Have you seen the TV show Runway Moms? It's a show using pregnant models and follow them right through till birth.

oh my god, how many people in that room, birthing photography not done in the uk, and usually only 3/4 people in the room and that includes mom to be, which gives baby a nice quiet entry into this world and time for baby and mom to bond.

renee-
these pics are absolutely wonderful, and I can't imagine the parents (or more likely mom, grandmom and aunt?) not loving what you've done-
good job!-
not having given birth, but being with my wife for four of them (and photographed all four births from 1974 thru 1989), I wonder if the mom gives a flying leap (at least until the time they hand her the baby)-
but, thank you Lord, I do not have to go thru that, so I don't know-

Yes it is. I'll try and locate the station for you. The only thing I don't like about the show is the owner of the place does her photographing in a corner of the shop with nothing for a background other than the wall. Her models, weather they be just the pregnant mom or mom and boyfriend/dad, they stand too close to the wall and the owner sends these to clients. Plus she uses flash to light them. No studio lights.

I would love to do this. How do you manage tho with the fact that you dont know when its going to happen? You musnt be able to promise apsolutely that you can be their so how do you go on and also if you dont mind how much do you charge as some labours go on for hours and some are over very quickly?
