We've always done corporate stuff, but we're trying to get more work in this line. Does anybody have any good suggestions? I'm so used to marketing our wedding services that I don't know where to start now with corporate.

First decide which markets you want to go for, then target your literature which needs to be designed for those markets and followup with a phone call within the week, cold canvasing can work as can cold phone calling and a good web site to prove you can do what you say you can.
That should do it.

nearly all my work is corporate & commercial. I get clients by getting in front of them.
find the company you want to meet and then use the web to find the person you need to speak to, companies are increasingly employing marketing manangers or even external agencies.
Ask around your other clients and see if they are willing to make introductions to there suppliers or customers - a referral from an exisiting client is a great door opener.
I would steer off cold calling, better to know the person you want and then ask for them by name.
Finally get in their faces, contact your local business link or Chamber. But the golden rule is DON'T SELL!!! introduce yourself, tell a bit about who you are, LISTEN to them, ask if its possible to arrange at meeting at their place.
easier than falling off a bike (and better than my speeling)
Go get em.

We have our website set up to attract the corporate work as well as the weddings and we have had a few people find us through Google (www.photo-video.co.uk)
Thank you for the advice! Sounds good. :icon_nice
