you will have to register for download, just got it, and at first glance im very impressed, very nice looking and seems rather quick dealing with raw.

Looks good but I tried the slideshow and think Bridge is better. The quality was pixilated using slides that are OK using Bridge or Irfanview and I keep getting 'repeat' appear in the centre of the slide and I can't find how to get rid of it. The RAW processing is basic compared to Bibble, RSE or NikonCapture.

I'm dumping it. Takes up a heck of a lot of space, is memory hungry and SLOW. Quite honestly can't see what the fuss is a about.

Same here. I uploaded it a couple of days ago, worked with a few photos and found I couldn't save anything so off it came. Nice to look at but if it's not useful...

Just got back from having a pint with some togs and all said the same thing it's NBG. I thought my m/c had slowed up even after removing it and others have had the same problem. Any ideas for a solution?

Rebooting did not make much difference Just run this app and the m/c is like greased lighting. Costs about £25

Hi tony, i use a freebie one called easy cleaner, it gets rid of duff registry settings in 2 mins, and same here, computer runs sweet for a while.

Thanks guys - saved me a download and got some new software to play with - gonna try 'easy-clean' first.

It's the words 'easy' and 'clean' that grabbed my attention - never seen them in te same sentence before!

I have downloaded this Easy Clean thingy, and am struggling.

Can you 'talk me through' how you use it as it doesn't seem to do clean anything for me. Just gives me lists of files and paths that mean nothing to me and then seems to want me to delete them. As I don't know what they are, I am reticent to delete anyhting.

Thanks a lot

Just one word of advice guys, before using anything that automatically cleans your registry...back it up. If you screw the registry, it can be a real pain. Always best to have a backup copy.

To do this run regedit.exe from the Run option on the start menu.
Select My Computer at the very top of the tree in the left hand panel.
Select Export from the file menu.
Give it a name and I always put it on my desktop.

If you need to restore your registry, double the new icon on your desktop. This will merge the backup registry with the existing one.

I know this may be teaching a granny to suck eggs, but you cannot be too careful with the registry.

Also, for Mac users...don't bother with Lightroom, stick with iPhoto or if you want a more advanced photo management tool, get Aperture.

For once, I am not just stating this to be a mac zealot, they really are better.

yup, it was backed up to an external drive first but it really has made an amazing difference.
