Hi all, this might interest some of you out there. A photography friend of mine found it, and we are going to attempt it :P

Anyway, here is the link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1088227/Pictured-Longest-exposure-photos-taken-UK-produce-stunning-image-iconic-landmark.html

I'm sure I've seen that before somewhere.
Didn't realise it was a homemade pinhole cam though!

What are your plans for re-creation?

I've seen this guys work before. He ran a big project with these home-made pin-hole camers strapped to telegaph poles, rubbish bins and fence post all over the place.

A couple of Karl's welding filters stacked and he could do it with his SLR :)

were planning to do a couple of things, including doing a couple of months exposure on a herb plant. Anyone have any idea's? Luckily, pinhole camera's are one of the first things were doing in photography club next year

....lol, i would but leaving my cam strapped to posts, bins etc might not do my cam any favours, you can't trust people to leave things alone these days...

I remember reading about him in a mag. I think he said he put out loads of them cams but most were removed by the authorities. Just imagine the street cleaners cursing the vandal who strapped all those empty coke cans to the lamp posts and whatnot.

That's really quite amazing. I live near Bristol, and I must say I've never seen the Clifton Suspension Bridge looking quite like that.

Got to admire that guy's dedication.
