Help.. Sorry 4 being a pest! Can't attach images!

Sorry for being a nuisance....AGAIN!!

I spent a wee while yesterday minimising some landscape images to post on the forum but i'm having difficulty attaching them. Not that they are any good i just wanted some constructive critism :) I've disabled my Norton internet security and antivirus as I thought it was something to do with Pop up blocking (I'm really showing my ignorance here!)

I don't have a Website and attempted to do this through "manage attachments" but the window appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears. What am I doing wrong?

Hey Charley!

You're not being a pest - if you don't know -ask!

Firstly, put your Norton back on - putting up pics has nothing to do with Norton, keep it active.

Right - type your thread and then click manage attachments. Then click on the top 'Browse' button and navigate to your pic...... you can put up I think 5 at a time? The click 'Upload', once it is done click to close the window and then click submit.

If your upload window has disappeared, you might have just inadvertantly clicked on another window - so check your tray at the bottom of your screen. Hope that helps. :)

Waif's right but you can load more than 5 images. Load your first 5 and when the links appear in the attach files box reclick manage attachments and load another 5. Any more than 10 IMHO gives the viewer visual indegestion.

Thanks for the info. When I click on the add attachments or rather the manage attachments a pop up window attempts to appear... But then immediately disappears. I recall having the same trouble on Ebay specifically when I tried to search for like items to sell. I thought it was something to do with a pop up blocker and hence I turned off my Internet security and antivirus programs. I'm running XP on an older laptop. Never had this bother on my Mac but its gone pear shaped! I seem to have the Midas touch in reverse!

I'll persevere. Hopefully I'll manage to work my way round the problem.

I've had this happen and the popup panel had minimised it'self so check your bottom line.
