Try this as a quick way to get good colour balance.
Image>Adjustments>Match Color>check 'neutralise box'
Bingo! it happens. You can fine tune the result with the 3 sliders.
I have this as an action, saves no end of time.
Sorry; I think this only works in PS CS2

I think I may have mislead some by saying colour balance, this removes a CAST.
