I got a dive buddy who shoots digi & uses PSP software. He usually shoots w/out flash so all his pics are very, very green.
He was just about to shell out for a bunch of filters to correct it, BUT - the red filtration through water varies according to depth so one filter won't suit all.
Does anyone know how to apply a coloured filter in PSP?
(Easy in CS2 I know, but I have no idea with PSP)
I'll be diving with him on Tuesday so simple instructions to print out and give him would be great.
Thanks all

Not sure if it will work, but i remember using a sunset filter on a landscape shot, of course the whole colour cast was orange, but when i opened it in raw and made adjustments (im sure just auto), it removed the colourcast immedietly as if i hadnt had a filter on. Could be worth a try underwater.

Nope, sorry, none of his but I've attached a couple of my natural light shots as an example. Haven't seen him for over a year but meeting up again tonight for a couple of days in the water.
I'm really looking for something like CS2's 'Photo Filter' adjustment for him if PSP has such a thing.
Generally, in uK waters shooting with natural light, everything has a very green cast - the deeper you go, the darker the green colour.
Some kind of adjustment in PSP to allow him to adjust a slider to remove the green would be the most helpful.

Yup - that'll do it.
How did you go about it?
(Please keep simple - he's no expert)

Menu // Adjust // Colour Balance // Grey World Colour Balance....
6500 to 9300.....
then a quick Digital Noise removal at 50% on the open sea bits..
