Not only does this review make my mouth water for the printer it's one of the most indepth reviews I think I've ever seen.

At $700 aprox £450 if we don't get stung in the UK it's less expensive than the Epson 2400, less thirsty and it has some very interesting features including pano printing, it's the HP B9180.

I've several friends who have the R2400 but I've put off making the investment for several reasons, the main one being running costs, the 2400 is very heavy on ink; even with a CIS system one of my mates is having to watch how many prints he makes. OK this is not too important if you are selling the prints but I'm not doing so much of that nowadays.
Photokina is only a few weeks away so I'll wait and see what's introduced then.
The replaceable heads and non-moving ink tanks are two of the features of the B9180 that appeal to me.

Ok there's 27ml in each cart and the 9180 is reputed to be less thirsty than the 2400 but those carts are reported to be $33.99 each that's about £17 which makes a set of 8 £136!!!!!!!!!
