I expect to those who know how this is straightforward, but I don't have a Scooby how to do it.

I have head and shoulder profile photographs of my late parents and would like to combine them into a single image. Both are facing the same way (which helps) and I would like to end up with one head overlaying the other.
Can somebody please explain the process in simple terms. I have CS2 and PSP8 available to do the work in.

This is not a simple task but the main thing you will have to do is work in Photoshop and use layers. This way you can move and erase or copy parts till you get the desired result.

alternatively u could create a new image, the size of both portraits side by side so if each is 300 high and 200 wide make new image 300 high and 400 wide, then open ur portrait shots, use the clone tool to clone one parent onto one side of new image, then when done, click on second portrait and do same, u will have both parents on same white background and a tidy on new main image should sort out any issues.

If you can post the images here and it will then give us a better idea of the job in hand.

My brother actually has the photo's at the moment. When I next see him I'll borrow and scan them.
