Tried it and really didnt get used to it at all. I use a proggy called Focus magic, imo its the best sharpening program i know, i swear by it for nearly every shot just to make tac sharp. It is not a free proggy though.

Is it better than PS CS/2 Unsharp Mask and it's other sharpening filters?
I might well have a look at it if it's worth it.

...may be worth a look - it seems quite comprehensive and its FREE.

Also don't forget the new Smart Sharpen in CS2 - it's more powerful and versatile than you may think. I've been reading stuff from CS2 gurus (like Scott Kelby) that it's use will increase a lot when people start realising how good it is.
I use SS rather than USM all the time now (except I use severe USM at 50/50/0 for adding contrast to B&W conversions), simply because I know the settings.
